Responsibilities
- Assess product risks and possible failure modes to drive reliable design choices
- Design effective test plans for reliability validation and growth
- Define mission profiles aligned with various Bot use cases
- Facilitate failure analysis to identify root causes of failures
- Deliver data-based reliability design guidelines and communicate requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams on reliability lifecycle from concept to operation
- Manage parallel tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in reliability and test development for mechanical or electro-mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of electro-mechanical test setups
- Knowledge of material properties and failure mechanisms for rotary machines
- Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and applied statistics
- Experience with statistical software such as JMP, Minitab, or R
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited input information
