Responsibilities
- Create vehicle experience mockups using 3DExperience and CATIA.
- Design components for fabrication using various methods (3D printing, CNC milling, etc.).
- Collaborate with engineers to evaluate desired attributes effectively.
- Manage and oversee the fabrication and assembly of components and vehicle models.
- Design and hand assemble wood and metal structures using cutting and drilling tools.
- Perform ergonomic assessments against styling and engineering proposals.
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy while working under tight timelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on fabrication/model-making/woodworking experience.
- Experience with CATIA, 3DExperience, or equivalent 3D modeling software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a "maker" mindset.
- Ability to work in small, multi-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of vehicle design and engineering.
- Proven experience in managing large data assemblies and processing 3D scan data.
