Responsibilities
- Ideate concepts for equipment and manufacturing systems.
- Develop specifications and manage RFQ process.
- Validate and optimize processes from prototype builds to full volume production.
- Transition products from low-volume prototypes to large-scale production.
- Identify root causes of production bottlenecks and equipment malfunctions.
- Use manufacturing data to inform decisions and track progress.
- Create detailed documentation for equipment handover to operations team.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in deploying, qualifying, and validating new processes in automated production.
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and experimental design.
- Design experience in CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting production data and solving challenges.
- Proficiency in the development and launch of manufacturing lines.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
