Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and implementations.
- Develop designs in CAD for detailed parts and master model assemblies.
- Perform tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and other simulations.
- Create 2D drawings for high-volume production and inspection.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews with suppliers.
- Run validation tests and perform data analysis.
- Provide factory engineering support to resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of design for plastic injection molded, sheet metal stamping, and cast parts.
- Exposure to various 3D printing methods.
- Experience in sensor integration for robotics.
- Proficient in CAD, preferably CATIA.
- Basic understanding of cameras and geometric optics.
- Ability to perform first-principles analysis for successful design optimization.
