Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Solar Design team to propose solutions for energy products.
  • Develop manufacturing methods and select equipment for commercializing solar products.
  • Oversee installation and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment.
  • Define and oversee Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for equipment.
  • Optimize product flow and line efficiency using 5S methodology.
  • Characterize baseline performance and drive improvements in yield and tool availability.
  • Generate and maintain machine documentation and spare part BOMs.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
  • Strong hands-on experience with high-volume and pilot manufacturing.
  • Understanding of automation systems, mechanical engineering, robotics, and PLCs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and SPC.
  • Experience programming PLCs and articulated robots is a plus.
