Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Solar Design team to propose solutions for energy products.
- Develop manufacturing methods and select equipment for commercializing solar products.
- Oversee installation and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment.
- Define and oversee Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for equipment.
- Optimize product flow and line efficiency using 5S methodology.
- Characterize baseline performance and drive improvements in yield and tool availability.
- Generate and maintain machine documentation and spare part BOMs.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
- Strong hands-on experience with high-volume and pilot manufacturing.
- Understanding of automation systems, mechanical engineering, robotics, and PLCs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and SPC.
- Experience programming PLCs and articulated robots is a plus.
