Responsibilities
- Ownership of circuit boards and electronics for low voltage test systems, including specification, design, prototyping, and fabrication.
- Hands-on bring-up, build, and debugging of new circuit boards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and electrical engineers to design robust systems for product validation.
- Review product schematics and design circuitry to emulate physical signals/behaviors.
- Integrate validation software frameworks to deliver fully automated test systems.
- Maintain test setups and ensure continuous robust operation.
- Promote Tesla’s reputation as a cutting-edge company accelerating sustainable energy transition.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent skills.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit design experience.
- Proficiency with basic EE tools and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with common communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN).
- Experience with Altium or similar PCB design software.
- Hands-on technical experience debugging with microprocessors and software-controlled devices.
- Python proficiency and experience with PC-based test systems (Python, Matlab, Labview).
