Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of the control rod drive system ensuring safety and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership for mechanical component design.
- Coordinate development, testing, and validation of analytical methods for CRD performance.
- Develop detailed schedules and manage contracts for specialty services.
- Oversee supplier records and lead resolution of non-conformance reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory criteria and industry standards.
- Interface with regulators and stakeholders on design and regulatory issues.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical or related discipline and 10+ years of experience, or M.S. with commensurate experience.
- Experience with quality standards such as ASME NQA-1, AS9100, or ISO 9001.
- Proven experience in oversight of suppliers in a heavy industry environment.
- Experience in design and fabrication of complex structures and equipment, preferably in nuclear.
- Knowledge of nuclear construction and lifecycle management processes.
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve multi-disciplinary problems.
