Responsibilities
- Participate in the New Product Development team in Design Engineering.
- Work on developing concept and product design solutions.
- Conduct analysis and testing to verify functionality, strength, and safety.
- Design, prototype, assemble, troubleshoot, and validate design improvements.
- Create detailed engineering documentation for product improvements and new technology projects.
- Take ownership of real work assignments to gain valuable experience.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
- Able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 6 months in-person.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SolidWorks.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proactive in seeking help and asking questions.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical concepts.
- Interest in joining Leadership Development Programs after graduation (nice to have).
