Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, and Energy teams to implement electrical hardware and utility partner requirements.
- Determine hardware partners for Terawatt’s charging sites in collaboration with the Technology team.
- Execute interoperability strategies for various EVSE partners and vehicles.
- Assist Field Service in resolving hardware and electrical issues for fleet customers.
- Engage in standards compliance and existing/upcoming standards engagements.
- Identify new solutions to improve site efficiency alongside senior team members.
- Manage engineering outputs for multiple projects with competing deadlines and resources.
Job Requirements
- Background in electrical engineering or power electronics with practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in dense electrical infrastructure, particularly in EV charging.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing Single-Line and Three-Line Diagrams using engineering software.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes for EV infrastructure.
- Experience managing utility interconnection applications and understanding utility service provider requirements.
- Preferred 2+ years in the EV ecosystem or related fields with hands-on construction oversight experience.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as OCPP and ISO 15118, and safety practices in construction and electrical work.
