Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, and Energy teams to implement electrical hardware and utility requirements.
- Assist Technology team in determining hardware partners for charging sites.
- Execute interoperability strategies for different EVSE partners.
- Resolve hardware and electrical-related issues for fleet customers.
- Engage in standards compliance and improvements for site efficiency.
- Manage engineering outputs for multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Research and apply relevant building and electrical code requirements to site designs.
Job Requirements
- Background in electrical engineering or power electronics.
- 4+ years of experience in dense electrical infrastructure, particularly in EV charging.
- Proficiency in developing Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) using engineering software.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Experience managing utility interconnection applications.
- Preferred 2+ years in the EV ecosystem or related fields.
- EIT status or a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
