Responsibilities
- Design and build hardware systems for automotive and energy storage applications.
- Develop and optimize designs using 3D CAD software and CAE tools.
- Validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate technical and product engineering inputs.
- Complete and release component designs and documentation, including 2D drawings.
- Optimize mechanical designs for various performance metrics.
- Participate in sourcing and manage engineering relationships with suppliers.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of relevant industry experience, especially in automotive powertrain systems.
- Strong 3D CAD skills and understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with component design, analysis, and validation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding and stamping.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Hands-on mechanical fabrication and prototyping experience preferred.
