Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, testing, and implementing tooling, fixtures, or equipment upgrades.
- Create 3D models of machined, welded, and purchased parts using Onshape.
- Generate drawings for production and/or purchasing using Onshape.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) utilizing the ERP system.
- Implement design, BOM, or operational changes following the ECN process.
- Calculate forces, pressures, flow rates, and strengths of materials for oil and gas equipment using hand calculations, MS Excel, and/or FEA/CFD analysis.
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., Onshape, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, Autodesk Fusion).
- Knowledge of FEA and/or CFD analysis is a plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, fabrication).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Hands-on experience through labs, projects, or previous internships.
- Ability to meet physical demands including office and shop-floor settings.
