Responsibilities
- Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality
- Wire, assemble, check, test, and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment
- Solder, assemble, check, test, and install PCB boards
- Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair/replace electrical systems
- Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted
- Install new equipment and do wiring to expand infrastructure as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule
Job Requirements
- An associate degree or higher in electrical engineering technology
- Knowledge of basic electrical components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, etc.
- Experience soldering electrical components and PCB assemblies
- Experience wiring control panels and making wiring harnesses
- Knowledge of OrCAD or similar schematic capture or CAD drawing software
- Ability to understand and create technical drawings/diagrams and documentation
- Knowledge of test equipment like multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.
