Responsibilities
- Partner with an aerospace engine mechanic team to support Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbine powered aircraft engines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft components and engines.
- Utilize hand-held and OEM tooling, including torque wrenches and precise measuring tools.
- Observe safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies.
- Participate in various engine projects involving repair, troubleshooting, and documentation processes.
- May perform other duties as required by the department.
Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area for the internship.
