Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbine powered aircraft engines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft components and engines.
- Utilize hand-held tooling and OEM tooling.
- Use torque wrenches and precise measuring tools.
- Observe safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules.
- Collaborate with experienced engine mechanics on various engine projects.
- May perform other duties as required by the department.
Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
