Responsibilities
- Partner with an aerospace engine mechanic team to support MRO operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbine powered aircraft engines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft components and engines.
- Utilize hand-held and OEM tooling, including torque wrenches and precise measuring tools.
- Observe safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules and policies.
- Engage in on-the-job training and learn from experienced engine mechanics.
- Perform other duties as required by the department.
Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer knowledge is necessary.
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude required.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools is essential.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
