Responsibilities
- Partner with an aerospace engine mechanic team to support MRO operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbine powered aircraft engines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft components and engines.
- Work with handheld and OEM tooling, including torque wrenches and measuring tools.
- Observe safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules.
- Complete other duties as required by the department.
- Engage in on-the-job training with experienced mechanics.
Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must meet screening and security requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic computer knowledge is necessary.
- Proven mechanical and technical aptitude is required.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks related to aircraft maintenance.
