Engineering Internship/Summer Scholar (Component Repair Engineering)

The Engineering Internship at StandardAero offers students hands-on experience in the aviation industry, where they will collaborate with engineering teams to support Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Interns will work on various projects related to repair industrialization, tooling design, and process improvement.

• Partner with production engineering teams to support MRO operations.
• Update/create work instructions with the Component Repair Team.
• Create Op-Sheets for component repair processes.
• Perform First Article Inspections for new repairs or process changes.
• Assist with lab duties for chemical and metallurgical testing.
• Create tool drawings as required.
• Assist in the repair and development of current and new parts.

• Completed engineering courses.
• Knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Project, Word).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred drawing skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
• Strong desire to learn and contribute to a team.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
