Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for fiber optic and copper network infrastructure.
- Coordinate downtime activities between teams to minimize disruptions.
- Drive telecommunication projects using design change requests and monitoring data.
- Troubleshoot electrical system problems and conduct studies.
- Coordinate material procurement for large-scale projects.
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for system design and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications system design or building.
- BICSI RCDD Certification or a STEM degree.
- Preferred: 5+ years in commercial or industrial telecommunications systems.
- Knowledge of low voltage AC and DC applications.
- Experience with critical power infrastructure.
- Ability to work in high-concentration environments.
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
