Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all Long Beach Recovery Operations Reliability.
- Interact with disciplines responsible for post-mission recovery to optimize processes/designs.
- Identify process and hardware risks during recovery and implement improvements.
- Lead investigations for root cause and corrective actions.
- Maintain feedback loops to ensure reliable recovery cadence.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure quality and manufacturability.
- Adopt a Lean approach to quality while ensuring safety and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, test, or design engineering.
- Experience with complex systems in aerospace or mechanical fields.
- Knowledge of quality tools like Lean principles and Six Sigma.
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required.
- Ability to work directly with hardware for extended periods.
