Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Provide electrical engineering support for troubleshooting existing systems.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations for electrical installations.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Evaluate electrical equipment and ensure compatibility with facility power budgets.
- Provide code review and analysis for electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and medium-voltage distribution.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Physical ability to perform hands-on work in various environments.
