Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for design and qualification of power components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawing creation.
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal loads and vibrations.
- Interface with machine shops and production teams for design production.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines and success through all project phases.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical design and testing.
- Proficiency in hand calculations, FEA, and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
