Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for the design and qualification of power components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for assemblies.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawing creation.
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal loads and vibrations.
- Collaborate with machine shops and production teams for design implementation.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines through all project phases.
- Engage in design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers/customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in hand calculations, FEA, and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals.
- Familiarity with high-volume production designs.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
