Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for electromechanical component design and analysis.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for assemblies.
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawings.
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal loads, vibration, and shock.
- Interface with machine shops and production teams for design production.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines through design, assembly, testing, and integration.
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers/customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or similar.
- Experience in mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and hands-on electromechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA), and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals (e.g., motors, inverters, batteries).
- Exposure to high-volume production designs with a focus on manufacturability.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork with engineers, managers, and suppliers.
