Responsibilities
- Serve as the responsible engineer for the design and qualification of power components.
- Conduct thermal, structural, dynamic, and tolerance analysis for electromechanical assemblies.
- Participate in the initial mechanical design and creation of production drawings.
- Perform failure analysis of components under various conditions.
- Interface with production teams to ensure manufacturability of final designs.
- Own the hardware delivery timeline through all phases of development.
- Participate in design reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- Experience with mechanical/electromechanical hardware design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience in electromechanical design.
- Proficiency in hand calculations, finite element analysis, and CAD software.
- Knowledge of power component design fundamentals.
- Experience with design for manufacturability in high volume production.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various teams.
