Responsibilities
- Perform fluid system sizing analysis to determine requirements.
- Transform system requirements into hardware concepts and designs.
- Design pressurized and unpressurized structures and parts.
- Conduct structural analysis of components for survivability.
- Implement design changes for manufacturability.
- Oversee the first builds of flight hardware in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design experience.
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Experience with pressurized components.
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work extended hours as necessary.
