Responsibilities
- Perform fluids system sizing analysis to determine basic system requirements
- Transform system requirements into hardware concepts and trade implementation options
- Design pressurized and unpressurized structures and parts, creating original CAD models
- Perform structural analysis to ensure component survivability
- Execute design changes to enhance production efficiency
- Drive the first builds of flight hardware and collaborate with the manufacturing team
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
- 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design, analysis, or build experience
- Experience with fluid dynamics and computer-based modeling
- Familiarity with pressurized components and finite element analysis software
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work extended hours and relocate to Starbase, TX
