Responsibilities
- Perform fluid system sizing analysis to determine system requirements.
- Transform system requirements into hardware concepts and architecture options.
- Design pressurized and unpressurized structures and parts, creating CAD models and prints.
- Conduct structural analysis of components to ensure survivability.
- Implement design for manufacturability changes to enhance production efficiency.
- Oversee the initial builds of flight hardware and collaborate with the manufacturing team.
- Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design, analysis, or build experience.
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Experience with pressurized components and CAD software (Siemens NX preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Starbase, TX.
- Ability to perform physical job requirements, including working at heights.
