Responsibilities
- Own hardware and mechanisms from conceptual design through production and operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system-level optimization.
- Rapidly iterate on designs to inform high-level systems trades and product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) to create efficient designs.
- Establish efficient product lifecycle processes from supply chain to integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware.
- Manage product delivery timelines throughout the development and production stages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- Experience with mechanical and/or electromechanical design and analysis.
- Graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in 2026 or 2027.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Understanding and application of GD&T.
- Demonstrated ability to manage hardware or systems in an integrated engineering team.
