Responsibilities
- Own mechanical engineering work packages for the production site, focusing on large mechanisms.
- Design elements for multidisciplinary projects, from conceptual feasibility to construction completion.
- Perform engineering analyses, designs, and calculations.
- Create mechanism design drawings and presentations.
- Manage construction contracts and project control tasks.
- Interact with engineers, contractors, and various stakeholders.
- Promote job site safety and ensure adherence to safety policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of construction or manufacturing design experience.
- Experience with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Knowledge of CAD and PLM systems, preferably Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and at elevated heights.
