Responsibilities
- Own mechanical engineering work packages for the production site, focusing on large mechanisms.
- Design multidisciplinary projects for new construction, from feasibility to completion.
- Perform engineering analyses, designs, and calculations using standard methodologies.
- Create design drawings, calculations, and summary presentations.
- Manage construction contracts and perform project control tasks.
- Interact with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve field conflicts.
- Promote job site safety and ensure adherence to safety policies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
- Preferred 2+ years of construction or manufacturing design experience.
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Experience with CAD and PLM systems, particularly Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and at elevated heights.
