Responsibilities
- Own mechanical engineering work packages for the production site, focusing on large mechanisms.
- Design multidisciplinary projects for new construction from conceptual studies to completion.
- Perform engineering analyses, designs, and calculations.
- Create mechanism design drawings and design summary presentations.
- Estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs for construction projects.
- Manage project control tasks, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Direct field personnel to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of construction or manufacturing design experience.
- Experience with fluid dynamics and computer-based modeling.
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and at elevated heights.
