Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling.
- Demonstrate complete end-to-end project ownership, coordinating the build, testing, and activation of the hardware designed.
- Work closely with launch operations teams to ensure products meet expectations.
- Use technical knowledge to make development decisions based on cost and schedule.
- Present cost and schedule trade proposals to leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience with design software (NX, CATIA, Creo, Solidworks) or analysis software (ANSYS, ABAQUS, FEMAP).
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, or building mechanical structures.
- Strong understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude and ability to lead projects.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility in work schedule.
