Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems for launch pads, recovery, and production tooling.
- Demonstrate complete end-to-end project ownership, coordinating build, testing, and activation of hardware.
- Collaborate with launch operations teams to meet product expectations.
- Utilize technical knowledge for structural sizing and design decisions based on cost and schedule.
- Present cost and schedule trade proposals to leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with NX, CATIA, Creo, or Solidworks, or ANSYS, ABAQUS, or FEMAP software.
- Professional experience in designing, analyzing, or building mechanical structures is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Proactive attitude and ability to lead projects.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility in work schedule.
