Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and size vehicle structures based on flight loads.
- Collaborate with peers to create balanced designs considering mass, cost, and capability.
- Generate CAD models in NX for components and assemblies.
- Build finite element models to analyze designs for structural integrity.
- Validate designs through testing of development articles.
- Perform structural testing on subassemblies and airframe sections.
- Partner with engineers and technicians to enhance designs and support hardware assembly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 1+ years of engineering experience in design, analysis, or building structures.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to perform trade studies.
- Experience in building hardware or a passion for practical engineering applications.
- Demonstrated rapid career growth and ability to handle challenging tasks.
