Responsibilities
- Own hardware and mechanisms from design through production and operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system optimization.
- Rapidly iterate designs and analysis to inform product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) to enhance production efficiency.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate hardware compliance.
- Manage product delivery timelines through all stages of development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design.
- Master's degree in engineering preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T and structural analysis of mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work long hours and travel as necessary.
