Responsibilities
- Own hardware and mechanisms from conceptual design through volume production and on-orbit operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements.
- Drive system-level optimization and inform high-level systems trades.
- Create elegant designs focusing on production efficiency and error-proofing.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware.
- Manage product delivery timelines through all stages of development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software.
- 1+ years of mechanical and/or electromechanical design experience.
- Solid understanding of GD&T.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to work long hours and travel as necessary.
