Responsibilities
- Own hardware and mechanisms from conceptual design through production and on-orbit operations.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system optimization.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and analysis to guide product direction.
- Drive design for manufacturing (DFM) to create efficient designs.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware.
- Manage product delivery timeline through all stages of development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- Experience with CAD or FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design.
- Master’s degree in engineering is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Understanding of GD&T and structural analysis.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
