Responsibilities
- Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across campus.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of fluid systems.
- Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet production requirements.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable, working with production teams.
- Support material selection, sizing, and procurement.
- Work independently and manage extended hours as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 1+ years of experience with fluid components (valves, pumps, etc.).
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
- Proficient in CAD software and GD&T.
- Experience with structural analysis and aerospace structures.
- Ability to work independently.
