Responsibilities
- Own and be the subject matter expert on fluid/HVAC components across campus.
- Perform CAD modeling and design of fluid systems.
- Conduct fluid analyses for pressure balance and component design.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet production and operational requirements.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and reliable for smooth transitions to manufacturing.
- Support material selection, sizing, and procurement.
- Work independently and manage time effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with fluid components (valves, pumps, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with fluid handling systems.
- Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation.
- Experience with HVAC systems and CAD software (NX, GD&T).
- Knowledge of structural analysis methods for aerospace applications.
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed.
