Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes.
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team for manufacturability.
- Lead prototype builds and manage production development milestones.
- Ensure manufacturing systems meet volume, cost, and quality targets.
- Oversee facilities development, layout, and material flow.
- Identify and implement tooling and hardware requirements in production.
- Evaluate automation opportunities and their return on investment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high volume commercial or automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of DOE, gage R&R, and process qualifications.
- Skills in production data requirements and SPC.
- Ability to design tooling for high volume manufacturing.
- Experience with automation in production processes.
