Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team for manufacturability
- Lead prototype builds to meet production development milestones
- Ensure manufacturing systems meet high volume rate, cost, and quality targets
- Lead facilities development, including layout and material flow
- Identify tooling and hardware requirements for production processes
- Evaluate automation opportunities and their ROI
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in high volume commercial or automotive manufacturing
- Ability to design tooling for high volume manufacturing
- Experience with automation in production processes
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and MES systems
- Must be available for extended hours and weekends as needed
