Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes.
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team for manufacturability.
- Lead prototype builds to meet production development milestones.
- Ensure manufacturing systems achieve high volume, cost, and quality targets.
- Lead facilities development and material flow definition.
- Identify tooling and hardware requirements for production processes.
- Evaluate automation opportunities and establish requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in high volume commercial or automotive manufacturing.
- Proven ability to transition products from design to manufacturing.
- Knowledge of tools like DOE, gage R&R, and process qualifications.
- Experience with automation in production processes.
- Familiarity with NX, Teamcenter, ERP, MRP, and MES systems.
