Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day production of Falcon and Merlin engine sub-assemblies.
- Analyze manufacturing discrepancies and lead root cause analysis.
- Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes to reduce non-conformance.
- Provide expertise on manufacturing processes impacting test and launch operations.
- Identify design-for-manufacturability improvements.
- Communicate with production, machining, maintenance, quality, and design teams.
- Ensure quality hardware delivery on time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields preferred.
- Experience with aerospace welding systems and non-destructive testing.
- Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques and CAD experience.
- Production tooling design and GD&T experience preferred.
- Willingness to work hands-on and long hours when necessary.
