Responsibilities
- Support daily production of Falcon and Merlin engine sub-assemblies.
- Analyze manufacturing discrepancies and lead root cause analysis.
- Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes to reduce costs.
- Provide expertise on manufacturing processes impacting test and launch operations.
- Identify design-for-manufacturability improvements.
- Communicate with departments to ensure timely delivery of quality hardware.
- Assist in hands-on manufacturing activities on the production floor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of mechanical design or hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
- Experience with aerospace welding systems and non-destructive testing.
- Knowledge of metallic manufacturing techniques and CAD software.
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks and work long hours when necessary.
- Must comply with ITAR requirements for U.S. citizenship or residency.
