Responsibilities
- Identify and implement machining processes to improve cost, quality, and production rate.
- Collaborate with design engineers and technicians to resolve production issues.
- Implement design for manufacturing (DFM) updates and manage changes in production.
- Establish machining process controls to minimize manual intervention.
- Ensure part quality and drive projects to meet specifications.
- Oversee the complete machining process from design to inspection.
- Manage multiple projects and product revisions simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machining concepts and hardware production.
- Experience with CNC programming and CMM.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced problem-solving environment.
- Mechanical design and analysis experience using CAD.
- Hands-on experience in aerospace production environments.
