Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and implement machining processes for turbopump and thrust chamber hardware.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineers to resolve production issues.
- Partner with design to implement design for manufacturing (DFM) updates.
- Implement machining process controls to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure part quality and drive projects to meet specifications.
- Oversee the entire machining process, including fixture design and CAM programming.
- Manage multiple projects and product revisions simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (internship qualifies).
- Strong knowledge of machining concepts and CNC programming.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
- Experience in design or product development engineering.
- Mechanical component design and analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience in a production environment, preferably in aerospace.
