Responsibilities
- Identify and implement machining processes to improve cost, quality, and production rate.
- Collaborate with design engineers, machinists, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Implement design-for-manufacturing updates and manage change in production.
- Establish machining process controls for efficient operations.
- Ensure part quality meets specifications and drive related projects.
- Oversee the entire machining process from fixture design to inspection.
- Manage the introduction and implementation of new products and revisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (including internships).
- Strong knowledge of machining concepts and hardware production.
- Experience with CNC programming and tooling design.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced problem-solving environment.
- Preferred Master’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering.
- Experience in aerospace production environments and developing work instructions.
