The Launch Engineer, Stage 0 Propellant Generation role at SpaceX involves supporting the design and implementation of cryogenic propellant processing and generation systems for Starship launch sites. Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and build systems for rocket launches and testing.

  • Collaborate with technicians to build designs and solve real-world problems.
  • Maintain communication with operation and construction teams to adjust plans as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives and optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Provide innovative solutions to challenges with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience (internship or project experience qualifies).
  • Strong problem-solving skills in time-critical situations.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Experience with fluid and structural/mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work in challenging outdoor environments and extended hours as needed.
