Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and build systems that support rocket launches and testing.
- Take ownership of projects from design reviews to equipment procurement and construction.
- Design modular hardware for future launch and test sites.
- Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills for process design and optimization.
- Utilize FEM software and hand calculations for design and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with vehicle engineers to develop systems from conception.
- Activate and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in designing or troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Hands-on experience with machining, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD software and structural analysis.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
