Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and build systems for rocket launches and testing.
- Manage projects from design reviews to equipment procurement and construction.
- Design modular hardware for future launch and test sites.
- Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills for system-level design and analysis.
- Utilize FEM software and hand calculations for design and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with vehicle engineers and technicians to build and fix designs.
- Maintain communication with the launch operations team to adapt plans as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in designing, building, or troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with structural/mechanical systems and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CAD and finite element analysis is a plus.
- Willingness to work in challenging environments and extended hours.
