Responsibilities
- Support on-call shifts and respond to satellite and gateway alerts.
- Drive multidisciplinary failure investigations and build fault trees.
- Implement corrective actions for design, production, test, and operational issues.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting in the lab to identify root causes.
- Create data analysis programs to identify satellite anomalous behavior.
- Conduct regular reliability reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and removal of complexity in designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in a design or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience in mechatronics or a combination of mechanical, electrical, and software skills.
- Experience with RF test equipment and debugging RF systems.
- Proficiency in programming and automation/scripting languages (Python, C, C++, SQL).
- Knowledge of quality tools such as root cause analysis and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA).
