Responsibilities
- Perform detailed failure analysis of satellite hardware and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize design schematics, test equipment, and inspection processes for failure identification.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product reliability.
- Work closely with test engineers to enhance test processes and reduce false failures.
- Monitor yield rates and quality metrics, driving corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Conduct environmental testing to validate product robustness.
- Maintain thorough documentation of failure analysis findings and test results.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with digital and mixed-signal designs and troubleshooting electrical hardware failures.
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods and quality tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages for test automation and data analysis.
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.
