Responsibilities
- Perform detailed failure analysis of Starshield satellite hardware.
- Utilize design schematics and test equipment to identify failure physics.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Work with test engineers to improve test assets and coverage.
- Monitor yield rates and quality metrics, implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct benchtop environmental testing to validate product robustness.
- Maintain thorough documentation of failure analysis findings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or reliability engineering.
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 3+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with electronic hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods.
- Proficiency in programming for test automation and data analysis.
- Active security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
