Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on failure analysis and drive corrective action for production, test, and on-orbit failures.
- Develop and implement production processes for existing and next-gen hardware.
- Create data analysis programs to monitor production yield and failure rates.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is met and identify risk reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with production to reduce in-process inspections and maintain inspection plans.
- Define Quality Management System requirements around traceability and non-conformance.
- Establish ongoing reliability testing strategies for manufacturing process health.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 2+ years in a design or manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Experience with complex mechanical/structural components from design to production.
- Proficiency in programming and automation/scripting languages (SQL, C++, C, Python).
- Knowledge of quality tools like statistical process control and root cause analysis.
- Experience in a fast-paced design environment within relevant industries.
