Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and technical guidance for the Hardware and EEE Parts Reliability group.
- Address Avionics EEE piece part reliability issues and risks.
- Use reliability physics of failure models to assess risks and implement accelerated tests.
- Lead reliability test planning, methodology, and execution.
- Drive analysis processes for failures during reliability testing.
- Build reliability prediction models and evaluate product performance over mission life conditions.
- Advise on parts selection based on reliability and manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related STEM field.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware development or troubleshooting.
- 1+ years of experience with Python or SQL.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of reliability statistics and failure mechanisms.
- Experience with environmental tests such as HALT/HASS campaigns.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
