Responsibilities
- Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and hardware debugging.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performance hardware.
- Challenge assumptions and approach problems with an open mind.
- Ensure successful outcomes across interdisciplinary subsystems of the satellite.
- Document and manage the performance of complex electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in designing circuits or hardware.
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and delivering reliable products.
- Proficiency in designing mixed-signal circuit boards and understanding programming languages.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for critical deadlines.
