Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and integrate control systems for the Starship Launch pads.
- Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A.
- Design control and data acquisition systems, and author electrical schematics.
- Work closely with other disciplines to interface control systems with high power and communication equipment.
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code for organized and maintainable applications.
- Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and conveyance installations.
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development balancing specifications, process requirements, and budgets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in design and commissioning of control systems (internship experience qualifies).
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
- Electrical schematic CAD experience using EPlan.
- Mechanical design experience with CAD tools.
- Hands-on experience building and commissioning electrical control panels.
- Knowledge of NEC and UL508A codes.
