Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select or design custom PCBAs for testing signals and applying flight-like loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and documentation systems.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and analyze failures to inform design improvements.
- Drive continual improvements by building tools to analyze data from on-orbit and lab tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, particularly Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and developing functional test plans.
- Knowledge of test equipment and measurement techniques for product validation.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Familiarity with environmental testing methods such as HALT/HASS.
