Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select or design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and data collection.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and analyze failures to inform design improvements.
- Drive continual improvements to designs through data analysis from on-orbit and lab tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, especially Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and developing functional test plans.
- Familiarity with test equipment for verifying product requirements.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional role and meet mission-critical deadlines.
