Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select hardware and/or design custom PCBAs for testing.
- Write automation software in Python for test interactions.
- Support hardware through production and satellite integration.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines for high-performance hardware delivery.
- Perform electrical bench testing and analyze failures.
- Drive improvements to designs through data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages, particularly Python.
- Experience with PCB design and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional role.
