Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and integrate control systems for the Starship Launch pads.
- Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A.
- Design control and data acquisition systems and electrical schematics.
- Work closely with other disciplines to interface control systems with high power and communication equipment.
- Write and debug PLC code for organized and maintainable applications.
- Manage electrical cabinet builds, field wiring, and conveyance installs.
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development balancing specifications, process requirements, and budgets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in control systems design (internship experience qualifies).
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems.
- CAD experience with electrical schematics and mechanical design.
- PLC programming and HMI/SCADA programming experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and experience with hazardous area installations.
