Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical systems for equipment installations, including power distribution and lighting.
- Provide support for troubleshooting existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code reviews and analyze electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and O&M manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and medium-voltage distribution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform hands-on work in various environments.
