Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Provide electrical engineering support to facility technicians for troubleshooting.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code review and analysis using relevant standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Proficiency in reading power and control schematics.
- Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and medium voltage distribution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
