Responsibilities
- Design and specify electrical power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Provide electrical engineering support for troubleshooting existing electrical systems.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical designs with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code reviews and analysis based on relevant standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
- Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Experience with medium voltage distribution and control panel design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
