Responsibilities
- Design detailed electrical systems and specifications for various equipment including power distribution systems and lighting.
- Provide troubleshooting support for existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical systems with mechanical systems and facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Conduct code reviews utilizing relevant standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to read power and control schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives, medium voltage distribution, and control panel design.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
