Responsibilities
- Solve complex mechanical, thermal, magnetic, and fluid system problems on space-grade hardware.
- Own hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and on-orbit operation.
- Collaborate with various engineering domains to develop propulsion hardware.
- Drive design criteria and system-level optimization for propulsion systems.
- Establish efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration.
- Perform tests to validate designs and ensure compliance with criteria.
- Manage product delivery timelines through all stages of development and production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of industry experience.
- Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with propulsion systems.
- Familiarity with fluid dynamics and finite element analysis.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and design for manufacturing principles.
