Responsibilities
- Own and manage critical droneship/vessel hardware for booster and fairing recovery.
- Perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance on vessel hardware systems.
- Ensure hardware mission readiness through preventative maintenance and testing.
- Design, build, and test new ground support equipment.
- Develop work instructions for operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Identify operational improvements and implement innovative solutions.
- Support operational engineering duties for West Coast SpaceX vessels offshore.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical hardware.
- Experience in aerospace, robotics, or marine industry preferred.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with test objectives, plans, and execution.
- Willingness to support offshore operations and work in extreme environments.
- Must pass background checks and drug testing.
