Responsibilities
- Partner with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes for products.
- Monitor product and process success during production ramp-up.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Investigate production, test, and flight failures to improve reliability.
- Guide quality inspectors and technicians in handling non-conforming products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
- Knowledge of quality tools and Lean principles.
- Experience with complex mechanical assemblies and propulsion systems.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
