Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes for products.
- Monitor product success through production ramp-up using quality analysis tools.
- Conduct build quality reviews and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Investigate production, test, and flight failures to improve reliability.
- Guide quality inspectors and technicians in managing non-conforming products.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean production systems on the shop floor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools and Lean principles.
- Experience with complex mechanical assemblies and propulsion systems.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
