Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop quality plans for flight hardware.
- Implement and validate Lean test and inspection processes.
- Monitor product and process success during production ramp-up.
- Conduct build quality reviews and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Investigate failures in production, test, and flight to improve reliability.
- Guide quality inspectors and technicians in managing non-conforming products.
- Support continuous improvement in a Lean production system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and Lean principles.
- Experience with complex mechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
