Responsibilities
- Partner with design and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Develop and validate Lean test and inspection processes for products.
- Monitor product success through production ramp-up using quality analysis tools.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Investigate failures in production, test, and flight to improve reliability.
- Guide quality inspectors and technicians in handling non-conforming products.
- Support continuous improvement on the shop floor through standard rework guides.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering (including internships).
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and Lean principles.
- Experience with complex mechanical assemblies and advanced manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
