Responsibilities
- Lead overall system mechanical design, including CAD implementation of architectural elements.
- Manage interactions with the industrial design team.
- Oversee detailed design and validation with engineering and manufacturing partners.
- Anticipate and respond to manufacturing challenges.
- Build capabilities of the team and foster relationships with internal and external partners.
- Engage in both product design and detailed engineering levels.
- Create low and high-fidelity prototypes for design and functional assessment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical design for small consumer products.
- Strong product design approach and hands-on CAD capability.
- Experience with new product development from concept to mass production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for gaming, digital entertainment, and technology.
- Ability to work in a small team environment within a large organization.
