Responsibilities
- Build the end-to-end quality program for a robotic assembly line.
- Define quality standards and inspection criteria for parts and sub-assemblies.
- Establish and manage the supplier quality function.
- Collaborate with systems engineering to derive PFMEAs and connect system-level risks to process controls.
- Develop in-line quality control processes for prototype builds.
- Lead root-cause analysis for build issues and drive corrective actions.
- Partner with manufacturing, design, systems, and test teams to integrate quality requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of quality engineering experience in hardware or complex electromechanical domains.
- Experience with supplier quality programs and process controls for prototype lines.
- Skills in root-cause analysis, CAPA development, and statistical process control.
- Familiarity with tools like APQP, PPAP, MSA, and digital quality management platforms.
- Knowledge of QMS integration into ERP systems.
- Preferred experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or complex mechatronic assemblies.
