Responsibilities
- Own schematic design, component selection, and stackup definition for boards from concept to final deliverable
- Design in complex SOCs, PMICs, Wireless ICs, and sensors for low-power consumer electronics
- Lead and contribute to technical design reviews
- Supervise and review layout for PCB, Flex, and Rigid Flex designs
- Debug hardware issues with cross-functional teams
- Test and validate all board level and systems level aspects of electrical designs
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, RF, thermal, and industrial design teams
Job Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices
- Experience in electronic design, including component selection and schematic design
- Proficiency in design of battery-operated systems
- Experience with various communication interfaces such as USB, I2C/I3C, SPI, UART, MIPI, SWD, and PCIE
- Knowledge of layout strategies for power supply circuits and signal integrity
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across groups
