Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies for aircraft and ground stations.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers on integrating custom PCBAs and circuits.
- Interface with vendors and support operations and supply chain teams.
- Define and execute engineering tests to evaluate system trade-offs.
- Drive designs from prototyping to mass production, supporting manufacturing teams.
- Debug and investigate failures with attention to detail.
- Produce thorough mechanical part and assembly drawings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Proven product development experience.
- Mastery of 3D CAD, experience with CATIA preferred.
- Ability to design for various manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Passion for mechanical design and prototyping.
- Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification encouraged within first 60 days.
