Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies for aircraft and accessories.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers on integrating custom components.
- Interface with vendors and support operations and supply chain teams.
- Define and execute engineering tests to evaluate designs.
- Drive designs from prototyping to mass production.
- Debug failures and investigate root causes.
- Produce thorough mechanical part and assembly drawings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in product development with a proven track record.
- Mastery of 3D CAD, preferably CATIA.
- Ability to design for various manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Passion for mechanical design and efficient prototyping.
- Strategic thinking across the design-to-production process.
